High River, AB (January 16, 2026) – The High River Flyers will be competing against two of the HJHL’s North Division teams as they host the Airdrie Thunder tonight at Bob Snodgrass Rec Plex and then head to Didsbury to face the Mountainview Colts tomorrow.
Tonight will mark the first time the Flock and Thunder have met this season, while the Colts and Flyers faced off back on October 17, 2025, as the Flock came up short in a 4-3 hockey game. Flyers assistant captain Lucas Hughes was a standout in that game as he collected two goals on the night.
Puck drop for tonight’s tilt against Airdrie is set for 8:30 at Bob Snodgrass Rec Plex.
