High River, AB (October 5, 2025) – The High River Flyers were on the road in Cochrane yesterday and won’t be looking back as the Generals took it 9-0.
Erich Baxter made the start and wasn’t to blame for the loss as he faced 46 shots in the contest. Generals goaltender Owen Hall-Chay didn’t have a busy night as he only faced 14 shots.
Cochrane opened the first period with two goals, followed by three goals in the second and finished with another four goals in the third for the 9-0 final. The Generals had seven different players score goals.
The Flock are back at home on Friday (Oct. 10) when the undefeated Sylvan Lake Wranglers make their first appearance at Bob Snodgrass Rec Plex during the 2025-2026 HJHL season.
