Thank you parents of the Flyers for all you do

High River, AB (October 27, 2025) – The High River Flyers were thrilled to host the moms and dads of the players with two separate trips.

The moms made their way to Red Deer on October 11 to join the Flyers on their road trip against the Vipers. Head coach and GM, Jeff Gardner, had Kasen Hanson’s mom read out the starting lineup for the game.

Next up was the dads as they made the trip to Coaldale on October 25 to help support the Flyers as they faced the Copperheads. Dane Christensen’s father would make a speech before the game to get the team going.

The Flyers would also like to thank High River Boston Pizza, as they came out to present the puck drop against Medicine Hat on October 24 and treated the Flyers’ faithful with vouchers.

The Flock is truly grateful for all of the support from the parents and their sponsors, as the team wouldn’t be able to compete without all involved. From the extra hours the parents put in, whether volunteering or simply attending the Bob Snodgrass Rec Plex to cheer on the team, all the Flyers staff greatly appreciate everyone.

The Flyers are back on home ice on Halloween as they host the Cochrane Generals at 8:30 p.m.
