High River, AB (August 25, 2026) – The High River Flyers have announced the signing of 2008-born forward Beck O’Neill.
O’Neill spent the last three seasons with the Calgary Buffaloes Hockey Association (CBHA) with the U15 AA, U16 AA, and U18 AA squads. This past season, O’Neill picked up 23 points (10G, 13A) in 30 games with the CBHA U18 AA Hawks.
Flyers Head Coach Tom Bradbury explained that O’Neill caught the eye of the Flyers organization last season, and they were excited to add him to the forward group.
“Beck is a guy we were watching closely last season. He will be a great addition to our team this year. We expect big things from him, and he is ready to make the jump up to Jr. hockey. He’s got the speed and a great shot,” Bradbury explained
O’Neill is not only pumped up about starting his junior career, but also wants to make an immediate impact with the Flock.
“I am excited to join the High River Flyers. I plan to be a significant contributor to the success of the team this upcoming season,” O’Neill said.
