High River, AB (November 14, 2025) – The High River Flyers look to string two wins together for the first time during the HJHL 2025-2026 season as they host the Red Deer Vipers at Bob Snodgrass Rec Plex tonight at 8:30.
The Vipers currently lead the Don Lunn North Division with 25 points and hold two games in hand over the second-place Sylvan Lake Wranglers, who hold 24 points. The Vipers won’t be an easy matchup as they are currently on a 13-game point streak with a record of 12-0-1-0.
The Flyers have found a win in back-to-back weekends as they were able to come out on top of the Agra Risk Wheatland Kings two weekends ago and then finish off the Carstar Okotoks Bisons on Saturday to hold a 2-1-0-0 record against their Foothills rivals.

Flyers assistant captain Ethan Burgeson has been producing this season with 21 points (9G, 12A) in 16 games and is entering tonight with a four-game point streak. Captain Wout Rehorst has been no slouch either, with his 16 points (8G, 8A) in 12 games and currently holds a three-game point streak.
Whether the Flyers go with Kaiden Fulton or Erich Baxter tonight, the net is covered as both goalies have played their tails off all season.
Puck drop for tonight’s game against the Vipers is set for 8:30 at the Bob Snodgrass Rec Plex.
