High River, AB (June 22, 2026) – The High River Flyers were proud to be a part of the Guy Weadick Rodeo on June 19.
The Flyers were helping out with the 50/50 tickets, while Board Members of the Flock were gifting visitors free admission game tickets for the 2026-2027 HJHL season. Flyers President Tim Bradbury was pleased with the reception and believes it was a great way to get involved in the community.
“This was a great opportunity for the Flyers to be seen in the community. It not only gave the players a chance to speak to people while selling the 50/50 tickets, but as a board, it gave us the chance to encourage our community to attend a game on a Friday night during the upcoming season. Our aim is to fill the rink this year, so by means of handing out some free game tickets, we hope that people will want to attend on a regular basis on Friday nights,” Bradbury said.
Bradbury teased that the season will start on September 25, 2026, and details about the exhibition schedule, along with the regular season schedule, are set to be released soon.
