High River, AB - (July 7, 2025) - The High River Flyers have announced that captain Wout Rehorst (Calgary, AB), goaltender Kaiden Fulton (Vulcan, AB), and veteran forward Ethan Burgeson (De Winton, AB) will be returning to the Flock for the 2025-2026 season.
Rehorst, who wore the "C" for the first time in his junior career, also led the Flyers in points during the 2024-2025 HJHL season with 32 points (9G, 23A) in 33 games. His 32 points were over triple the amount he produced in the previous season with High River. Rehorst will be playing his fourth full season with the Flyers and has accumulated 59 points (23G, 26A) in 93 appearances while wearing the blue and orange uniform.
Fulton enters the 2025-2026 season for the third time while wearing a Flyers jersey. Last season, Fulton took the main load of games as he appeared between the pipes for 24 games, which was 13 more games than any other Flyers goalie during the 2024-2025 season. He would pick up eight wins during the campaign and hold an .888 save percentage. The Flyers goaltender isn't the tallest netminder with his 5'9 frame, but he more than makes up for it with his quickness and acrobatic style.
Burgeson also makes his return to the Flyers for his fourth season with the squad. He started the 2024-2025 season with the Bisons, but would make his way back to the Flyers mid way through the campaign and picked up right where he left off with a strong point production. Burgeson would produce 25 points (10G, 15A) in 25 games after he returned to the Flock last season. Over the course of three seasons, Burgeson has produced 87 points (30 G, 57A) in 98 games in a Flyers uniform.
