High River, AB (November 21, 2025) – The High River Flyers are now 2-2-0 against the Carstar Okotoks Bisons during the 2025-2026 HJHL season as they drop tonight’s game at Bob Snodgrass Rec Plex 6-0 to their Foothills rivals.
The two Foothills rivals have traded wins all season, and both have picked up a win on the road, along with at home this season against each other.
Ralph Hummel from GM Mechanical, who also plays the role of equipment manager for the Flyers, got the game started with the ceremonial puck drop at centre ice.

Kaiden Fulton made the start for the Flyers and faced the Bisons for the fourth time this season, and got credit for 29 saves on the night. Carson Jeromemade his third start of the season against the Flyers as he tended the net for Okotoks.

Three different Bisons who are former Flyers would make up four of the Bisons’ six goals on the night. Brothers, Nolan and Conor Smith, both had a goal each against their former team in the Flyers, along with Joel Burrows collecting two goals against High River, his former team. Zephyr Laplante and Noah Bueckert also added goals in the 6-0 final.
Flyers will head to Starthmore tomorrow to face the Agra Risk Wheatland Kings for their second game of the weekend.
