High River, AB (December 19, 2025) – The High River Flyers were able to get a ton of pucks on net against the Agra Risk Wheatland Kings tonight, outshooting their opponents 40-35, but weren’t successful in finding the back of the net, falling 4-0 at Bob Snodgrass Rec Plex.
The Flock started Erich Baxter in net for tonight’s game, as he made 33 saves on the night and only allowed three goals as the final marker for the Kings came with an empty net. Connor White, the former Okotoks Bisons netminder, made the start for the Kings and was unbeatable with his 40-save shutout.
The Flyers outshot the Kings in the first period 13-9, but came out behind 1-0 as Jackson Keith opened the scoring with just over three minutes left in the frame with a power play goal.
The Kings extended their lead to 3-0 by the end of the second period, even after being outshot 15-11, with Brandon Corbeil adding the insurance goal and Cole Tweit adding a shorthanded goal with 46 seconds left in the frame.
Hayden Baker added an empty net goal with 51 seconds left in the third period for a 4-0 Flyers loss.
